OneSkill Terms and Conditions

Last updated: 19 October 2026. These Terms stay in force until replaced by an updated version.

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the OneSkill website, mobile application, courses and services. Please read them carefully. By creating an account, enrolling, paying or otherwise using our services, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. Who we are

In these Terms, "OneSkill", "we", "us" and "our" mean the company that provides the service you use, and the "Platform" means our website, app and related tools. Each company is responsible only for its own services.

2. Eligibility and your account

3. KYC and verification

For research, taxation and distribution services, and wherever the law requires, we must verify your identity and address under SEBI regulations, the Prevention of Money Laundering Act and similar laws. You agree to give genuine documents and to cooperate with our KYC providers. If you are outside India, we may ask for equivalent international documents and sanctions checks. No paid or regulated service will be provided, activated or continued until all required onboarding, KYC, risk-profiling, agreement and other compliance steps are fully completed and accepted by us. We may delay, withhold, suspend or decline a service if any of these steps is incomplete, expired or fails, and no fee is refundable for this reason, except as the law or SEBI regulations require. See our Privacy Policy for how your KYC data is used and protected.

4. Our services

Education. OneSkill Education Pvt. Ltd. offers courses, certifications, webinars, workshops and learning content on finance and investing. Education is general in nature. It is not investment advice and does not create a client relationship for research services.

Research services. Research services are provided only by OneSkill Education Pvt. Ltd. as a SEBI Registered Research Analyst, under the brand Capital Markets by OneSkill, which it owns and operates. They include buy and sell research recommendations for different financial instruments, stock screeners, the Oneace.ai financial AI chatbot, algo services, and Free, Pro and Elite subscriptions. Recommendations and paid research are made available only after you complete onboarding, KYC and risk profiling and sign the client agreement. If these Terms and the client agreement differ, the client agreement applies to the research service.

Subscriptions. Free, Pro and Elite plans give different levels of content and tools, as described on the pricing page when you buy. A plan gives access for its stated period only. Buying a paid research plan permanently disables investing in SEBI-regulated products through our AP service (see Distribution services below). Features and prices may change for future periods. Paid plans renew automatically every month or every year, depending on the plan you choose, until you switch off auto-renewal in your account before the renewal date. We will remind you before a renewal as the law requires.

Stock screeners. Screeners filter market data using criteria you choose or we provide. Results come from data that may be delayed or contain errors. They are tools, not recommendations to buy or sell.

Oneace.ai AI chatbot. Oneace.ai is a finance assistant offered under Capital Markets by OneSkill, the research brand of OneSkill Education Pvt. Ltd. (SEBI Registered Research Analyst, Registration No. INH000030773). Investments in the securities market are subject to market risks. Read all related documents carefully before investing. Do not enter passwords, OTPs or card details in the chat.

Algo services. Algo services, offered under Capital Markets by OneSkill by OneSkill Education Pvt. Ltd., are a platform where you can publish your own trading strategy, automate your trades through your own broker account, or buy an existing strategy and either observe it or automate it. Algo services are offered only as permitted by SEBI rules and your broker's terms, and you can stop or disconnect at any time.

Technology licensing to businesses. OneSkill also licenses its algo software to other fintech companies and businesses as a technology service, on a white-label or black-label (private-label) basis, under a separate written agreement, for a one-time software and technology fee. If you use another company's product that runs on our technology, that company, not OneSkill, is responsible for its own regulatory status, its customer relationship and its own terms. Nothing here makes OneSkill the provider of that company's investment, advisory or research services.

Taxation services. OneSkill Capital Edfintech Pvt. Ltd. provides taxation services to all users who ask for them. You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the documents and information you give us. Filing deadlines and final tax liability depend on the law and on your facts; we do not guarantee any refund or tax outcome.

Distribution services (Authorised Person). OneSkill Capital Edfintech Pvt. Ltd. works as an Authorised Person (AP) and distributor of financial products, through the SEBI-registered stock broker, depository, mutual fund house or other regulated intermediary or product provider whose products it offers. These include SEBI-regulated products (stocks, ETFs, bonds, mutual funds, SIFs, AIFs and PMS) and non-SEBI products (loans, insurance and travel). Orders, accounts and funds for SEBI-regulated products are handled by the relevant regulated intermediary under its own terms, and we do not hold your funds or securities. Loans, insurance and travel are provided by third-party lenders, insurers and travel partners under their own terms and approvals, and we only introduce or distribute them. Distribution is not research or investment advice.

Research and distribution cannot be combined (SEBI rule). Under SEBI rules, a client cannot be charged for both research and distribution, directly or indirectly. So if you buy a paid research subscription (Pro or Elite) or any other paid research service, you cannot invest in SEBI-regulated products (stocks, ETFs, bonds, mutual funds, SIFs, AIFs and PMS) through our AP distribution service. Free plan users can invest in SEBI-regulated products through our AP service for as long as they do not buy a paid research subscription. Once you buy a paid research subscription, access to SEBI-regulated products through our AP service is disabled permanently, even if the subscription later ends or is cancelled. After that you can still connect your own broker account to our research and algo tools, and we do not charge any direct or indirect commission on trades in that account. Non-SEBI products (loans, insurance and travel), education and taxation stay available to everyone. Please decide before you buy a subscription. You agree to give correct information so that we can apply this rule, and we may check our records and decline or stop a distribution request that is not allowed. A research fee is not refunded because the distribution option is disabled.

Separate services. Education and research (OneSkill Education Pvt. Ltd.) and taxation and distribution (OneSkill Capital Edfintech Pvt. Ltd.) are separate services from separate companies. Using one does not entitle you to another. Buying paid research permanently disables SEBI-regulated distribution through our AP service, as explained above.

Sections that by their nature should continue (such as intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, record retention and governing law) continue after termination. We keep records for the period required by law, as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Users outside India

We serve users in India and in other countries. You are responsible for making sure that using our services is lawful where you live. Some services may not be available in every country, and we may refuse or end them where the law or our regulators do not allow us to serve you.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Please first try to resolve any complaint through our grievance process below. Subject to that, and to any right you have under SEBI regulations to use SEBI's Online Dispute Resolution process or to approach SEBI or consumer forums, the courts at Dehradun, Uttarakhand have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms.

15. Complaints and grievances

We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within 7 working days. If you are not satisfied with a research or other SEBI-regulated service, you may complain to SEBI through the SCORES portal (https://scores.sebi.gov.in) or use the Online Dispute Resolution platform (https://smartodr.in).

16. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a revised "Last updated" date and, for material changes, tell you by email or in the app. If you keep using our services after a change, you accept the updated Terms.

17. General

If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in force. Our not enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. You may not transfer your rights under these Terms; we may transfer ours to a successor of our business. These Terms, our Privacy Policy and your client agreement (where one applies) are the entire agreement between you and us on these subjects.
